i do not recommend this microwave. the instructions are very vague if there are any at all for operating it. the reheat on most foods get them so hot they boil. soup and beverage. i cannot figure out how to set an amount of food so this does not happen. for example on the soup after selecting reheat and soup the only thing i can do is press start. it boils over every time. this is the worst microwave i have ever had.

Terrible/Loud Noise During First 2-Seconds

got this microwave 2 days ago to replace the exact same samsung model microwave (my previous samsung microwave lasted less than 3 years by the way, and i am not happy about that to begin with). brand new, straight out of the box, this new microwave on its first use started up with a terribly loud humming noise that lasts approximately 2 seconds, then dissipates out to a dull humming noise like most microwaves make. i am used to a small humming noise, but the very loud humming noise for the first 2 seconds at each startup is terrible. that loud 2 second humming noise happens every time on startup. i am not happy w/ this purchase at all!!! i do not recommend.

the minute i purchased this microwave the door stuck. i called samsung and couldn't get a replacement! only reason i purchased it was because of the black stainless which matched the rest.

We bought this microwave a few weeks ago. It has a funny sound that comes from it when it's cooking kind of like a jet plane. It doesn't happen all the time But quite a bit. It does cook food evenly and quickly. Excited to try the deodorization feature. First time I've ever seen such. Very pretty and streamlined design.

This is our 2nd Samsung appliance that went kaput after a year. Just died. But before that it was only a so-so microwave. The door frequently got stuck and it had less oomph than my 15 year old microwave from my fist apartment.

After having different microwaves through the years, I wanted one that was made well on the inside instead of being painted and peeling. I looked for a year at different microwaves and sizes, I read about Samsung and asked others for opinions and Samsung came out on top. This new size is perfect for my counter, not too big or small. The only problem I have is the size of the wattage, my old microwaves were of higher wattage so I had to learn to readjust my timing but in the end everything was great. It cooks much more evenly without burning. I would like to see the off and on buttons have a light behind them to see easier. I had to put some small neon stickers over them to see them better.
All in all, I am glad I waited!
